Cooking Thursday

We have fairly frequent potlucks at our church. Several months ago, following the potluck, there were a bunch of people waiting to see who had brought a particular dish because it was so good.  This included a few guys which is unusual.  We figured out who brought it, and got the recipe!  I made it and it may be the easiest recipe I've made - perfect for a potluck, and as I told you, it's very good!

Raspberry Fluff

16 ounces thawed Cool Whip
32 ounces Vanilla Yogurt
1 large package (6 ounce) Vanilla Pudding (dry mix)
1 bag frozen raspberries (or other fruit of your choice)

Stir together the Cool Whip and Yogurt, then stir in the pudding mix.
Add frozen raspberries and stir.
Refrigerate overnight or for several hours before serving.

Thank you for sharing this recipe, Mari. It will be a great way to use up some fruit in our freezer.

Ohh! This looks so good and sounds so simple to make although it would be harder for me as Cool Whip isn't a thing here in England. Hmmf. I am sure there must be an alternative, I'm off to look now.

It looks very good, but we don’t have pudding mix here unfortunately!

I've not tried the raspberry, but this sure looks worth me adding it to my list. Church Potluck dinners have always been a favorite of mine. Especially the older ladies bringing their long time favorite dishes...

I agree with you, this sounds like it'd be perfect for a potluck! I'll need to bookmark this for the future.

Wow, I could eat some of that right now!!!! And you could probably make it fairly sugar -free, right?

I would do this minus the yogurt. I just made a Snicker apple fluff last night. Vanilla pudding, Kool whip, 2 granny Smith apples cut up and 6 snickers bars cut up. Janice

I'm probably one of the few people who doesn't like cool whip.

OH, that does sound really good! And almost healthy...you know, the yogurt and raspberries make up for the cool whip and pudding! LOL.

My husband would probably love this. He's always talking about some kind of " fluff" dessert his mom would make with cool whip.

This looks delicious! I miss church potlucks! We only have two per year at our church, and those have so many people there I can understand why its so infrequent, but I do miss it when we don't!
