Last week we were scheduled to watch Cassie and Connor, so Heather and Andrew could go to a wedding. Unfortunately, Andrew's Dad ended up in the hospital so Andrew had to be with him and they couldn't go. We decided to have a fun day anyway, and went with the kids and Heather to a park we'd never visited before. It's on the Grand River, so it's beautiful, but had great places for the kids to play too.
This is just one of 3 play areas
The kids liked the play area more than the river. :)
We all had a great time!

I am sorry they missed the wedding, but it looked like you had fun anyway. Still wearing coats? I'd rather play on the equipment too like the kids. It was truly a gorgeous park.

What a fun time! I love seeing pictures of Cassie and Grandpa. She surely does love him. It reminds me of our youngest granddaughter and Carroll when she was Cassie's age. Thanks for sharing your fun day with us.

I have to first of all say....I love that little Monkey backpack!! sorry that Heather and Andrew were not able to make it to the wedding and I do hope Andrews dad is better now. Mari...these photos are so very special...they include lots of memories that were made. The photo of Grandpa in the back seat made me smile..he looks like he is full of happiness. I sure hope Andrew's dad is okay, and sorry they had to miss the wedding. Your day of fun with Cassie and Connor was made even better with Heather along!! That park looks like a place to return to! I shake my head at everyone wearing a coat/jacket! It's in the 90s here!! I've been in Florida for too long to remember how chilly it can be "up north" during May.
