Cooking Thursday

I have another air fryer recipe for you.  If you don't have one, you could probably do this in the oven too, but this is so easy in the air fryer and gets nice and crispy.
I got this one from the Pioneer Woman.  It works for a light supper or for lunch.  It takes just a few minutes to put together and it's very good!

Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Bagel Pizza

1/2 cup shredded rotisserie chicken
6 tablespoons BBQ sauce
1 bagel
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
optional - jalapeno peppers, pickled onions

Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
Mix together the chicken, 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce and mozzarella cheese.
Halve the bagel and spread remaining BBQ sauce on each half.
Top each half with the chicken mix and jalapeno peppers if desired.
Place in air fryer and air fry for about 5 minutes.  Watch to make sure it doesn't get too done.
Garnish with pickled onions if desired.

This Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Bagel Pizza looks delicious and so simple. The combination of shredded rotisserie chicken, BBQ sauce, and gooey mozzarella on a toasted bagel is perfect for a quick lunch or light supper. I love the idea of adding jalapeños or pickled onions for extra flavor too. www.melodyjacob.com

Any BBQ sandwich with lots of cheese on a bagel is a winner in my book.

Yum!! Thanks for the recipe Mari. Already copied it into my computer recipe book. :) I love that the flavor options could be endless: traditional pizza, make mini taco pizzas, cheeseburger ones and top with pickles. Make it healthier with keto or low carb bagels etc. 😋
