I have a cute, fun craft to share with you. A friend sent this one to me with instructions for making "pumpkin" slime. It was easy and Alaina and Ruby said it was the best craft ever.
To make this, you need shaving cream, Elmers glue, saline solution, baking soda and food coloring. But before we made the slime, we made cute little jars to put it in.
Then came the fun part!
Then mix in 1/2 cup white glue. Once it's mixed, add orange food coloring till it's the color you want.
and last - 1 tablespoon saline or contact solution. This is what makes it become slime. Add more saline solution as needed until it comes off the side of the bowl and becomes ball like and sticks together.
It didn't all fit in the jars, they each took home a zip lock bag too.
Now they have plans to make it in green for Christmas, and blue with glitter for winter.
It's a little messy, but not bad and well worth it for the fun they had!

What a cute craft! I love the faces that the girls painted on their jars and the slime is perfect for filling the jars...the color is definitely a pumpkin orange! I loved the expressions on each of the girls faces as they worked with the slime. Ruby was having a whole lot of fun and Aliana looks as if she wasn't sure how she felt about all of that mixing of slime until the very end of it. :)

I used to make slime for my daycare kids along with play dough. Gee I hadn’t thought of that in years! Fun.
I never heard of this but my boys would have loved this when they were small. Too fun and clever... Lucky Granddaughters.

You are one brave lady letting them make that. It is a little messy, but when my grandson made it - he got it everywhere and left some oily mark. You are an awesome grandma!

Now that is some primo slime! And I love the jar idea. Dagny loves making slime so much that there was a time she'd beg every time she came over and about half the time I'd say no, hahaha! But we have begun making it again and I'll have to show her this cute idea. Your girlies are so beautiful and I love their smiles! xoxo

Slime is SO much fun! I hate to admit that I am 50 and still love it! Haha! I know the girls enjoyed that so much! I can’t wait to see what y’all do with it for the different holidays!
