On my day off last week, Heather and I decided to go out for lunch. There's a cute little decor shop we like to go to and we thought we would stop there first, then pick up my stepmom and take her with us to lunch.
Here's Cassie at the store. They had these cute sunglasses for kids, so I picked this pair up for her. She's styling!
We went and picked up Ann at her Assisted Living place and drove to the restaurant. My brother Duane had the week off and when he heard we were going for lunch with Ann, he said he would meet us too.
When we got there, the waitress told us they had a new computer system and everything was taking a little longer.
Cassie got tired of waiting!
But finally our food came!
Macaroni and cheese and a side of strawberries made Cassie happy.
Ann ate her whole Belgian waffle and enjoyed it!
After lunch we brought Ann back, then brought Heather and Cassie home too. Cassie was ready for a nap!
It was a fun time together, and so nice we could include Ann and Duane too.

Hi Mari! I can't believe how quickly Cassie is growing up! She has gone from a cute baby to a sweet little girl right before our eyes! She is darling. I love her curly hair! Awe, Cassie is such a little doll, so patiently waiting :) She had my kind of lunch, two of my favorite foods. Ann looks so sweet, she is blessed to have you in her life.
What a sweet post. Cassie is really growing up! (She's such a cutie) And I think it's very healthy for kids to be around us older folks. Teaches humanity, patience and tolerance which our society needs much more of.

Cassie is a whole vibe. And not for nothing but it's amazing to me when restaurants cannot come up with food, or silverware, or anything related to eating. And there is always an excuse, hahaha! xoxo
So sweet! And Cassie sure is styling 😎 This brings me back to my early days when Aaron was little. My MIL and I would go shopping and out-to-lunch. Sometimes include a great Aunt of Adam's that was in a facility. Or when my Mom had a day off from work, we'd do something similar too. During those early kiddo years my MIL was retired (& pre-dementia) and we got to do a lot with the kids. Some of my most precious memories. 😊 💕
