Autumn Drive
I think the colors are about peak in our area, and will probably not last long, because it keeps raining! We've had lots of wind and rain. Lake Michigan has had huge waves that have been causing a lot of trouble with erosion. But, when the sun is shining, the colors are just gorgeous!
Here's what things are looking like in my neck of the woods.
Close to home - in our front yard, Bob has been blowing leaves.
He's also been working on those never ending acorns. This is clean up number 4 - and this is just from one section of the front yard!
Here's some pics taken around our town.
And back home again. This is our street, our driveway is just beyond the pine tree on the left.

I just love fall colors! After two days of wind and rain our leaves are pretty much gone, so thank you for sharing yours!
Thank you for sharing your lovely pictures, that last one I have always felt there was something so special about a canopy of tree branches over a road.

Beautiful! Our color(s) is about gone here, the trees are becoming naked, thanks to the high winds we have been experiencing. Soon it will be winter time, sigh. Hope you have a lovely week ahead, smiles

How beautiful....our colors are not so vibrant this year. I think the lack of rain caused many trees to just drop their leaves. Thanks for sharing your lovely countryside, Mari.
The beautiful red building among all the fall colors is just gorgeous!! So many acorns....You need more squirrels.
Loving the colors, Mari! Re: Bob blowing leaves, I had a friend who claimed not blowing or raking leaves, it kept her grass green. :)

Autumn is such a beautiful time of the year but we've had so much rain and high winds that the trees are already quite bear!
Truly gorgeous ... fall color just makes me so happy even though it is poignant. I have been visiting some beautiful old cemeteries and the autumnal ambience is so perfect for such places ... so many metaphors ... so little time! Your pictures should be postcards. xoxo
