In other news from last week, my sister and I had to bring my Dad back to the ER again. He was feeling crummy, short of breath and his heartbeat was irregular. They tried several medications, but ended up having to shock his heart back into the correct rhythm. It's amazing to see how quickly he feels better once that is corrected. They let him go back home that night and he had several tests done this week. We're hoping that when he goes back to the specialist next week, they'll have a plan to help. Having this happen monthly doesn't seem like a good thing.
Alaina spent the night here Friday. Our cat Oliver is already tormented when she comes over because she chases him every time he gets near her. This time she threw his toys off his bed and decided to sit on it. Good thing he really isn't too fond of it anyway.
I saw this cool rainbow spot in the sky on Saturday. I've heard them called sundogs and they happen when the sun shines on ice crystals in a cloud. They're not quite like seeing a rainbow, but are still pretty fun!
And the snow continued last week.... I'll tell you more about that tomorrow.

I just love babies in footie pajamas! Oh my...so adorable!
I've never seen or heard of a sundog! How cool is that? It's been icy enough for one! I'll have to keep my eye out for them!
Hope your dad is feeling better...and that they can figure out how to prevent those episodes!
Welcome back to blogland! Your granddaughter is just precious! I love that sundog...really beautiful. I love rainbows of all kinds! Glad that your dad is feeling better...hope he continues to improve.
I'll pray for your dad. So glad your computer is fixed... great to have you back!
Prayers for your dad... Your granddaughter is sooo cute. Love your sun dog.
I love when I see a sundog. Funky little 'rainbows' aren't they?
Ha! Love how Alaina took over the cat bed!
Hope things get back to normal for your dad. That has to be not only scary but frustrating as well.
Sorry your dad continues to have problems, Mari. I hope the doctors find a solution very soon. Alaina is getting so big. Poor Oliver. Javier gets a haunted, hunted look when Melanie and Allissa walk in the door. Desperate times ...
Awww Oliver is just going to have to share his bed with the cutest baby in the world. I am so glad you're back. This sundog is the first for me. Its so unique. Hoping and praying for your dads health. I know it has to be so hard on you all. Take care, my friend.
Glad your computer woes are no longer stressing you out, and you once again are able to blog. You've been missed. Love the sundog image. It's neat that your camera captured it at such a perfect time. And of course, Alaina. She's such a sweet one. I always smile when I see such a darling gal like her.
Isn't it great to have your computer running correctly again? Glad you are back.
Sorry to hear your dad is going through this, I hope they have a plan that will prevent him going through this again I will be praing.
That Alaina, she's so precious!
I've never heard of a sundog, now I really want to see one!
I do hope they can come up with a plan for your dad, how frustrating that must be for him :(
Alaina is so funny, I can't believe how big she's getting.
Glad you have your computer back too, missed your posts :)
Praying your dad's dr. will have wisdom in treating him.
This is such a sweet photo of Alaina and the sundog is great.
I am taking a break from posting for a while but I'll still be visiting with you.
praying for your dad!!
Alaina is a real princess. She is lovely. I hope your dad will be fine now.
I'm glad your computer is back and working well!
Thinking of your Dad at this time and hoping he feels better each day.
I couldn't help noticing that Alaina has a dummy (do you call them pacifiers?) in a few recent shots. My eldest daughter needed one a great deal when she was younger, but many people seem to frown upon them as if they are poison!
Oh that cute little peanut- I just want to squish her!
Welcome back. Atrial fibrillation is just not fun! My hubby has it.
Said a prayer for your Dad.
Wondered where you'd been. I thought maybe you were just covered up with snow!!!!
Welcome back, Mari. I'm glad your dad got some relief.....not fun! Poor Oliver! Ha! Ha!
I've heard of sundogs, but I've never seen one. I saw a sun pillar one time and nearly wet my pants! I get so excited over natural displays of God's handiwork.
My animals did just the opposite to our first grandchild---took over her play blanket area and toys.
Darling pic of Alena.
I'm late getting to this, but I pray your dad is doing better.
