The Sparkle Box (Giveaway)

Soon that season will be here again.  You know what I'm talking about.....Christmas!  It's such a wonderful Day, but the day itself too often is swallowed up in all the commercialism that surrounds it.
I recently was able to review a children's book that has an idea to combat some of that commercialism.
It's called The Sparkle Box.  It's the story of a boy named Sam and the excitement he has about Christmas.  One sparkly box set on the mantle has him really intrigued.  His parents say it needs to be filled first and then opened together.
The story shares the idea that Christmas isn't just about the gifts we receive, but is also a time for giving gifts to Jesus by doing things for others.  It's well written and presents this idea in an easily understood way.
The book itself is a beautiful, hard cover book with very well done illustrations.  It also comes with a Sparkle box that you can use in your own home.  I highly recommend it!
The publisher is allowing me to give one copy of the book away.  If this is something you would like for your children, grand children or anyone else, just leave a comment with a way to get in touch with you if you win.
I'll be posting the winner next Thursday evening.

For another chance to win stop over at Raise Them Up, where she is also hosting a giveaway!

How cool! I really have no use for it now, but for any future nieces/nephews or children, I could use it.

I'm doing this review and giveaway, too! Just haven't gotten around to writing and posting it yet. :)

But my son is already looking for ways to fill our box. It's a great idea!
