Morning visitors

We had some surprise visitors last week at work. It was quite early in the morning, when someone said "You've got to look in the front parking lot!"

When I looked, I was surprised to see 4 deer out there. We see deer quite often on one side of us where there are woods, but not near the houses in the front.
There were 2 fawns, still with spots, and 2 adults. If you look closely at the one on the right, you will see that she is missing one of her front legs. She was still able to get around just fine though.
They wandered around for about 15 minutes before something spooked them and they took off running.

Here they are running back to their familiar territory.
It was fun to watch them, and the residents that were up really enjoyed seeing them.

That is so cool! I love God's creatures! Poor deer with three legs. They sure do learn to manage without.

Wow that is cool! when we were up north we went for drives every night and would see 20+ deer. They are so peaceful. It is sad to see the one with 3 legs. I wonder what happened? car?

Oh how I always hate to see an injured critter! But, it still amazes me their stamina and will to survive!! Awesome photos. And what a treat. [I wish our mornings were misty like that. LOL....and GREEN too. What a concept.]

I never tire of seeing deer, they are so beautiful!
While on the freeway yesterday near Detroit Metro Airport we saw three deer on the median. I always worry about them so close to traffic!

The deer are beautiful but they are not beautiful on the road. We have had many close calls on Fillmore near our home.

Looks like some teenagers? We've seen a bunch of deer in the last week in our travels (these back roads of Michigan abound with them!), and most of them appear to be "teens".
