Works for me Wednesday

Have you ever made a photo book online? I recently did this after buying a groupon to Shutterfly. It was really quite easy and I had such fun doing it.
I used pictures I had taken a few years ago when Bob and I went to Colorado, to see Andy when he was at Fort Carson.
I was amazed at how quickly the book came to me. I put in my order last Friday and the book came to my house the next Wednesday. It looks great!
Here is a link to it if you are interested in looking.

I will definately be doing this again!

I have a friend who uses something similar, but it's called Smilebox. It's sent as an e-card, and it's just like a scrapbook. What wonderful concepts with our growing technologies!

I haven't made the leap yet, but I plan to! We have lots of friends in the military who do these after they leave each duty station, making a book to remember each one. I think that's a great idea, and I'll be making one for this duty station after we move this summer!! Plus, I'll be much better about taking pictures for one after each of our other duty stations.

Your photobook is beautiful - you took some awesome photos. I made one for a friend for visited Rhode Island - we did a lot of sightseeing in our local area and she loved that I added all the journaling. I don't think she would have remembered all the details about everywhere we visited.

Super!!! I could barely get beyond the welcoming hug! So so sweet was that, it melted my heart. And then seeing all the attractions in and around the area of the "Springs". Like 'old home week' for me.

I've been trying to play catch-up this morning to my blogging buddies...and I must say I enjoyed the 'baby doll' post below this...what an adorable group of photos...and then, the rabbit...how wonderful to have such wildlife come pay a visit.

PS...is the 'shutterfly' where we go to compose a book and then purchase one?

We made these for teacher gifts at the end of the year. Each parent in the class sent me a picture of their child doing something they like. I started the book with a poem about teaching (everything you need, you learn in kindergarten). Teachers loved it!

I've often thought this would be a excellent gift idea...but when it would come to gift giving, I forgot about the idea. Thanks for the reminder. Have you printed your blog into a book??? I've thought about doing that too. What do you think?

I love making photo books!! I switched to digital books from scrapbooking about 6 years ago. I now make one for every vacation and important event in our family!!

I made one for my mom a couple of years ago and I would be willing to say it is the best gift I've ever given her. She loves it.
