I had a nice surprise last week. A box arrived from Arizona! My friend Sandra, of Diary of a SAHM sent me an Arizona themed box of goodies.
There was an oven mit, a hot pad, a magnet, bubble gum, an Arizona spoon, a plate, a key chain and some strawberry, prickly pear preserves. I'm anxious to try those preserves. I've never had anything like that before.
Thanks Sandra. It's nice to get something beside bills and junk mail!

I'll try the key lime pie soon, it's really easy to make. Just egg yolks and condensed milk, and one drop of green food coloring... from the ingredients, I figure it must take like custard pie, am I right?
The pictures of Alvin (I like their names...Theodore, Simon...reminds me of the Chipmunks group that I really loved when I was younger!). How your cat must be itching to get his hands on the little guy out there.
And I absolutely loved the pic of the dogs waiting for their turn at the tree.
The graduation party was so unique...wow, they really are into old cars and stuff.

I've had it....the preserves that is. I thought when I first heard about it living there, that that was the oddest thing, ever!!! Jelly from a cactus flower?!! But yes indeed...and it's delicious!!!
