It's time to visit Sandra and see what great slow cooker recipes she has for us today. I think Fall is the perfect season for Slow Cooking. The recipe I have for you today is a soup that goes together quickly and is so good when it's getting cooler outside!
Hamburger Vegetable Soup
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic
4 cups V8 juice
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes
2 cups coleslaw mix
2 cups frozen green beans
2 cups frozen corn
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon rosemary
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Cook beef, onion and garlic in saucepan until beef is browned and drain. In slow cooker, combine remaining ingredients. Stir in beef mixture. Cover and cook on low for 9 hours or until veggies are tender.

Mari,
I love homemade soup in the fall and winter months and the Hamburger Vegetable Soup sounds delicious. I'm going to give it a try.
Blessings,
Mary
Another good one. I have been looking for more recipes with ground beef- got any more?
(other than burgers or spagehtti)
Is that Aunt Donna's recipe- it looks just like it. I absolutely love that soup!
Looks fairly similar to Aunt Donna's. I make that soup every year.
Yum! It is definitely becoming soup weather. Thanks for sharing.

This sounds great! Adding it to my list of recipes to try.
I'm new to making any soup that's outside of potato or taco soup, so I'll have to give this one a try.
Oh, Yum!! This sounds so good. Thanks for sharing.
Yum Mari, this sounds wonderful :)
we just got a quarter of beef from my inlaws. so we have hamburger coming out our nose...which is a good thing. meat is soooo expensive these days. anyways, i'm always game for a new way to use hamburger! great idea.
