We're back!

We are back and a good time was had! Before I tell you about our week, I have to clear something up. A few of you commented on how brave I was to camp in a tent... I have to tell you, that I don't camp that way. Bob says that what I was doing doesn't count as camping, but it works for me. I got the chance to use this beautiful camper, by bidding on it at our church's mission auction and winning! (Thanks Nate and Brenda!) It has hot and cold running water, a bathroom and... air conditioning! Now that's my kind of camping!
I'll post some pictures from our week tomorrow.

At one time Celsetine and I owned a 9 1/2 foot slide in cab over camper. with an F-250 supercab truck.that was fun to have we were to Niagra Falls, and to a cpouple places in Kyentucky.

I could do your kind of camping. I could not do my husband's kind of camping. Even though I grew up in somewhat rural Arkansas, I'm a little bit city girl at heart and I like my conveniences. I need my conveniences. As a matter of fact, they aren't conveniences, they are very nearly necessities.

Glad you're back and you had a good time. Can't wait to hear (or see) about it.

Like I have said, that is not camping, that is a temperary change in housing. That does look like a nice "house" though.

That's the only way to camp!
We've done it all from the tent to a beautiful camper like this one to finally just buying a cottage. Each offers a wonderful memory. Can't wait to hear of your adventures!!

I agree- I don't do the tenting thing- or even pop ups anymore!
Trailers are the only way to go!

I'm glad you had a good time. I can't do tents either. I can't imagine the thought of sleeping on the ground.

We tent camped last summer- but after camping with the camper, I don't think I will ever tent camp again.
