More crazy weather...

Yesterday I showed you pictures of our foggy warmer weather last week.  That only lasted one day; the next day the cold weather returned and with it snow!  Unfortunately that weather pattern has been going on for almost a week, and here is what it looks like now.

This is my road one day when I came home from work.

Snow is covering everything, so it looks quite pretty.

I love seeing pine trees in the snow.

This is a sun dial in our back yard.  It's not seeing much sun lately!

No one is sitting on our bench either...

What looks like a low shrub is actually a tall bush that couldn't stand the weight of the snow and tipped over.  It may not come back this Spring.

The weather people are saying it may warm up again this week.  It is unusual weather for sure!

Girl we have been in the deep freeze down here ... three days straight with highs in the 30s! For us, that's true winter. But only a dusting of snow on Saturday morning, that melted away by noon. And by the end of the week, we'll be in the 70s again! I must admit I'm looking forward to that. Your world is pretty in white! xoxo

Just catching up with you Mari - and you're right - you are getting crazy weather!!! That kind of "up and down" weather always wreaks havoc on my sinuses (allergies) and makes my head hurt. Lol

Hope you're not having any of those issues. ;) And I hope Mother Nature makes up her mind one way or another for you.

Blessings Hon. xoxo

The snow is lovely when there are ways to deal with it. But down here it holds us hostage as most towns have no removal because we so seldom get snow. After all our cold weather it was 49 degrees today and I got out and walked for two miles.

Well, after living in Colorado and the heavy snowfall, most of our trees/bushes always 'sprung' back after the weighted down winter snows.

Let's hope it does the same.

Are you SURE that's the sundial? [kidding]

Here we are getting hit with another winter storm, Mari...and then I was reading Thursday is suppose to be rainy with 50* temps. Sigh...odd, odd weather for sure.

Thank you for sharing your photos, they are very lovely, smiles.

Your snow pictures are so pretty, Mari! We had a bit of snow here in WV and the temperatures have been cold, but I'm guessing it is nothing compared to what you are experiencing there in West Michigan.

We had the opposite! We had cold weather with a little bit of snow on Friday, and today it is almost 70 degrees! Craziness! I too LOVE pine trees in the snow! It's one of my favorites!

Beautiful photos, but I'm sure glad I'm not driving on that road! You are one brave woman and hopefully you have good snow treads and a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Yikes! Stay safe & warm up there!

I do enjoy looking at your snow pictures. We have not had a measurable snow yet this year. Counties around us has gotten 4 inches but we have only gotten a skiff of snow. That is okay by me. I'll just enjoy your pictures. :)

Beautiful pictures! We have not had that much yet this year. This morning we got about 3 inches in a short amount of time, be it's supposed to go above freezing the next few days. I'm glad. Even a small amount of snow makes getting up and down Anthony's hill so scary.
