Easter

Hope you all had a nice Easter!  I had to work today, but Laura and Aaron surprised Bob by coming to our church instead of their own this morning.  He was very happy to see them and of course seeing Alaina and Ruby was wonderful.
The girls spoiled me by planning dinner and telling me they would bring it because I was working all day.  They made a ham dinner with all the fixings and it was wonderful!

Here's Laura and Ruby.  Laura made matching outfits for the girls, and they even had headbands to match!

Ruby got little shoes made to go with her outfit too.

Grandpa and Alaina enjoying each other.

Heather and Andrew patiently waiting for dinner.

Here's the whole group, enjoying a yummy dinner.

And Ruby, enjoying her own snack, changed into her pj's.

We had such a nice evening, watching the kids, talking and laughing and spending time together.  We are blessed!

It was a great time. We didn't do everything though - you made dessert and of course the raisin sauce. :)

What a thoughtful daughter Laura is! Reminds me of my own Heather. The new Mr. & Mrs. being there on their first Easter together is special also!

Love the girls' outfits.

It makes me sad that you had to work on Easter but I love the way your family figured out a way to include you. I know you were missed so much that day. The girls are so darling, I can't get over it. Laura is a genius for making those outfits and accessories. I can't sew and I can't imagine having tried to sew when I had a toddler and an infant. Amazing. xoxo
