What works?

I want to share a new discovery with you. I recently purchased Dawn Simple Pleasures dish washing liquid. I love things that smell nice, but I was in a hurry when I bought this and didn't realize there was an added feature to this soap. I just thought it was a new type of Dawn. When I got home, I realized that the bottom of the container had fragrance beads in it. Once you remove the plastic strip along the bottom, it releases a nice, subtle scent. I keep mine under the sink and instead of that musty smell that I sometimes notice, it smells fresh and clean when I open those doors. The soap itself has a really nice scent too and it really cuts grease. (I bought the water lily and jasmine scent.) It almost makes it a pleasure to do dishes! Next time you need more dish washing soap, you might want to give this a try!

Mari,

I haven't seen this product yet, though I do use Dawn dishwashing detergent. I will keep my eye open for it. It sounds like a nice touch to keep the cabinet under the sink smelling fresh.

Blessings,
Mary

I have used Dawn for a very long time but I have never bought the bottle with the new feature. I must have bought ten bottles way back when there was a big sale because I still have two bottles left. I did notice the new bottles the last time I was at WalMart but here is what I thought. I thought that they just redesigned the bottle in order to charge more. I didn't know that they added the beads of fragrance. Cool!

If you happen to spill on your shirt, you can take the Dawn and rub on shirt or spot whereever it is on the clothing and then wash it. Then after rub on, wash in cold water. Dawn took spaghetti out of the kids clothes at times.

Just a little tidbit info for ya.

the first time I bought this stuff, I didn't even realize the air freshener was there until the bottle was empty. I pulled the tape off and put the empty bottle back by the sink for a few more days.

I haven't noticed that one before.
Too bad you'll hardly ever have to use the actual soap part now that you have a dishwasher!

What a cool feature. I'm a creature of habit and might have never noticed this. I've been buying the Simple Pleasures combo with Tide lately, so I like their scents. I think mine is a jasmine too.

Good idea. We use very little dish soap with the dishwasher, but next time we run out, I'm going to check it out. I love a sweet smelling home. My Mom had fabric sheets tucked everywhere in the house....it always smelled so good!

What a great idea! I love the Simple Pleasures lavender and vanilla liquid fabric softener. It's expensive so I only buy it for use on my machine-washed dainties. I'm going to try this new product ... thanks, Mari, for the heads-up!
