I've got the best family!

Isn't this a cheery flower arrangement? I found it on my table when I got home from work tonight. It came from my sister Cheri, with a note saying that she knew I was having a tough week and she wanted to send a little cheer my way. That isn't all she did for my family today. Heather went to school and when she came back to the parking ramp she discovered that her car didn't start. She knew that neither Bob or I could leave work today, so she called Cheri who came to the rescue. Thanks Cheri!
I am singling out Cheri tonight, but my sister Terri and my brother Duane are also always willing to help out. (I am also blessed with a great family on Bob's side) It is really a blessing to have a family that cares and is willing to show it!

Several of you asked how things went at work today with the inspectors. I could feel your prayers. I was watched for the morning med pass and it went well. Any questions they asked throughout the day I was also able to answer and I didn't feel stressed. It's a good thing, because the 3-11 nurse was unable to come in and I ended up working a double. The inspector watched me give an injection during the evening but then watched the other nurse. It was a very hectic night so I'm glad to be home and ready for bed. The inspectors will be with us through Friday so you may keep praying!

Sounds like you have a gem of a sister ... indeed a whole family! How nice you get to live close by one another and be a support system. The flowers are so pretty.

Glad I was able to be there to help out Heather.

It should be noted that you also are always there willing to help- in fact I do believe that helped me out just the day before!!!

Family is a huge blessing!

What a sweet girl that Cheri is! You have a wonderful family who loves you and watches out for you. You are blessed, indeed!

I am so glad that you felt peace and you have been able to carry out your responsibilities at work even though you have people looking over your shoulder. I am still praying for you.

Working a double when the inspector is there. sounds fishy on the other nurse's part :)

Your flowers are very pretty and you're right about family. They are indeed a blessing!

Your sisters are a trip, but I would claim either one of them, you too, anyday. I can see the love between you three and it's a very special blessing.

Woohoo for Cheri for being a great aunt when needed. Next time my kids have car issues I'm telling them to call her :)

Mari, I am so behind on stopping by. I didn't know you were being inspected- that can be so stressful. Sounds like you and Bob have a wonderful family on both sides! Hope all goes well with the review and your dtr's car.

Family is the best!!! I wish mine all lived close to me!!! Just so you know, my Mom and sis both read your blog too so we are one big circle. My Mom made your white chicken chili this week and everyone loved it!! I hope work continues to be okay this week!!

The flowers look great and that was so sweet of the family. It is nice when you have people that will help when in a pinch.

Glad you did well in front of the inspectors. God will give you comfort and the peace that you need.

Sorry you had to work a double. That sure does make a long day.

I think people with close family are lucky! I feel so alone not having any family I'm close to anymore...i guess the whole "incident" really put a "stabbing" wall up or something. My "Christian" family of whom I didn't know for most of my life and of whom I am a bit closer to now, live 3 hours away! Today I am lonely. You are blessed Mari! (my husband's family are not Christian)

I'm glad you had a better day with the inspectors, although working a double isn't fun no matter who is there! By the way I think a small vase about 5" tall with flowers of the season. I would have vase with maybe small ribbon of the season and the flowers that equal the same height of the picture???? You know me there's always room for a flower or two.
