I'm leaving, on a jet plane...

The big day is finally here! Our flight leaves Wednesday morning, a little after 9:00. We will be landing in Virginia shortly after 1pm. You may remember that I have never flown, so I'm looking forward to that. Thursday is Andy's graduation and we will be spending Friday in Colonial Williamsburg. We've always wanted to go there and we thought we better make time for it while we were near it. Saturday we will fly home again.
I do have a prayer request to make. I am having problems with my knee. The knee cap is slipping and feels like it's dislocating. I've had surgery on my other knee for this same problem a few times, but this has always been my "good" knee. I have a brace I'm wearing and have been using crutches, but I'm worried about how things will go in Williamsburg, so I'd appreciate all your prayers.
I don't think I'll have a computer with me, so I won't be able to check your blogs or update mine. I'll check in when we return!

It seems to have come around quickly now - for a while the 'ticker' was around 30 days, then 20...and suddenly it is nearly here. I've spent a wee bit of time praying about your knee, I hope that eases for you and for grace for travelling and good travel and for a blessed and favourable time with your son. May it be a wonderful family time together. We will miss you Mari and look forward to hearing your news.

Lord- I pray that you would be with Mari, even now, as they are in the airport set to board their plane. Give them traveling mercies and favor.

Touch her knee Lord. Give her health and wholeness throughout this week and there after.

And BLESS her time with her son. Bless him as he graduates. And grant them hours within each minute as they reunite.

In Jesus name- Amen.

Love you Mari. Enjoy your time with Andy.

Mari,

I am soooo excited for you! I'll be praying for the flight and for your knee----maybe this will be the Lord's way to slow you down some. :) Take it easy and enjoy the time with Andy----you can always get on another plane to see Williamsburg.

Take LOTS of pictures (I know you will) and I can't wait to hear all about it.

Congratulations Andy!

I'll be keeping the night watch in Japan-----praying for your knee and the time together and travel mercies too.
