Father's Day

Hope you all had a nice weekend and Father's Day.  I had to work during the day on Sunday, but our girls and their families came over for supper at night.  We celebrated Father's Day and Bob's birthday.

 Enjoying supper together!

Ruby, "sitting" between Aaron and Laura.

Grandpa and his girlies.

The girls showing us how they dance to "Little Bunny Foo Foo"!

Alaina thought she would try out Aunt Heather's hat.

Ruby's hair was wild, so Andrew tied it up with a ribbon from a gift.
Take note of his facial hair.  He has it trimmed that way because next week he is playing the part of a villain at their church's VBS.  He's always up to do something crazy!

This is a gift from Heather and Andrew.  She found this case that he can hang his Dad's old pocket watch in.  There is a picture of his Dad behind it.  Pretty cool!  Laura and Aaron gave him money, with the added benefit of going out and wandering around garden centers, looking for flowers to spend that money on, then supper out.  Bob will love that too.  He and Laura share a love of gardening, plus he gets to spend time with her!
It was a nice day!

Looks like a really fun day together. You and Bob must feel all filled up - time with Andy recently and now with the rest of the family.

Mari, your girls are growing up on you. I cant believe how much of a big girl Ruby is now. She was just a baby when I started reading your blog.

I can't get over how big the girls are getting!! Growing up way too fast, but they are adorable. The watch case is a great gift and a shopping trip at the garden center will be fun too. Looks like Bob had a wonderful day!

I didn't know those girls in the top picture. They are growing up and changing so fast. Bob got some nice gifts for Fathers Day.

Wonderful family day. the girls are so tall, I can't believe it! They seem to change daily. We're pretty sure Dagny grew half an inch in her birthday week, haaahaha. xoxo

Mari, I hardly recognised the girls. Thought they were someone else's children at first. Wow, they're looking so grown up! Beautiful girls.

Ruby's face looking at that clock! I'm not sure if she's mesmerised or plotting what mischief she can get up to next! :D

I love how you brought your family together and shared in the moment even though you had to work. It really does build memories for the whole family that way.
