Weekend Report

This past weekend I had 3 days off!  It was a busy, but good weekend.  On Friday I went to my Dad's to set up his pills.  He's doing very well, but is on so many pills that it's hard to keep track of.  Laura met me there with the girls and we had lunch together.  Ruby seems to be improving in the area of being scared, and she even let Great Grandpa and Great Grandma hold her.  Here's  a few pictures of our time there.

Great-Grandpa and his girls.  (This made his day!)

Great-Grandpa let Alaina pick some of his flowers.  Laura went with her to help.

My stepmom loves kids.  She and Alaina did lots of walking and playing.

Don't you just love Ruby's hair?  Laura used to have that same style, it just won't lay down.

Friday night we went and spent some time with Bob's mom and had a very nice time.  I neglected to take any pictures though!

Saturday I helped give a bridal shower for a friends daughter-in-law to be.  I'll share more about that tomorrow.

Sunday we had a great service in church.  Aaron, Laura, Alaina and Ruby surprised me by showing up at our church.  They, along with  Heather and Andrew all came over at night.  I also had a phone call from Andy in Kentucky.

The kids like to play with Aunt Heather.

 Alaina loves to tease Bob.

These flowers from Laura and Aaron are very pretty, and hopefully I can keep them alive.  I was given some other nice gifts too, that I'm looking forward to using.

I got such nice cards, but I have to say the best one was made by Alaina.  :)

It was a very nice weekend.  Having Sunday off and being able to go to church, and seeing friends and family is the best!

Sounds like you had a wonderful Mother's Day. Great blessings of God. Glad that you were there to help your dad organize his medications. I'm sure he appreciates your help so much. Ruby's hair is so cute. Reminds me of my niece when she was a baby.

So glad you had those days off to be with your family and have them at church with you too. Ruby is just so cute, hair and all, and growing 'like a weed' as we say. Both girls are darling and I know helped to make your Mother's Day very special.

It looks like a lovely weekend and Mother's Day. I love seeing the girls, they're both getting big! My daughter had sticking-up hair when she was a baby too. I was so surprised because it was not only a shocking style, it was also blond and I never expected to have a blond child. I hope you have a great week, Mari.

YOu really did have a great weekend and a great Mothers Day. After I read Cheri's comment I had to go back and check out your new furniture. Pretty sneaky! I like them too!

The first thing I noticed was how much Ruby has grown. The girls look like they enjoy visiting their great grandparents.

I like the flowers and are those sticks I see!!!!!?

What a nice weekend!

Ruby looks like a little dandelion puff! :) Harry had hair like that...and when people would ask who was who with the triplets, we would say, "Harry is the one with the hair!" :)

I'm thrilled you had a relaxing and love-filled Mother's Day weekend, Mari. No one deserves it more. My Stephanie wore her hair in the same style as Ruby and Laura, only hers was pitch-black! I never saw two siblings look more alike than Alaina and Ruby. And I'm thrilled to see your dear dad feeling well and enjoying his life. xoxo

You sure can pack a lot into a weekend :)
Love Ruby's hair! She looks so much like Alaina did at that age (at least in photos).
