Going, going, gone!

It gives me great joy to tell you that our snow is finally gone!  I've got a few pictures to show you the melting process.

This was our yard in January.  Do you see the decorative, black thing poking out of the snow?  It's the top of our glass globe holder.  Soon you'll see how deep the snow was.

March 25 - most of our snow is gone, but there are some stubborn areas around the edge of the yard that are still hanging on.  You can see the glass globe and holder.  It's hard to believe that almost the whole thing was buried under the snow.

March 31 - the pile is shrinking.

April 2 - getting close!

April 3 - the snow is gone!  We're doing a happy dance!

Mari, I can't even imagine snow that deep anymore! And I would have been out there with a rake, just to make that last little bit go away faster! LOL

Hurray!!

Now that, my friend, is some deep snow! I know you are happy it is gone and you can actually see the yard again. Spring and summer will be so welcome this year.

Hi Mari! Our snow is gone now too, and rain takes it's place. (It's still pretty chilly though!) I thought your photos were great, what a good idea to get the thaw on film!
Hope you are having a sunny Tuesday!

Yay for no Snow!! Now to be keep it away - that is the goal! Sounds like we may get a snow mix tonight - YUCK!!

Spring is here either way, not stopping it now, so just need to wait until our sun is a bit brighter and flowers really get to growing! ;)

I am so happy for you. You really had a lot of snow for a long time.

The spring rains have begun here. It has been dark and gloomy all day and promises to be that way till Saturday. Maybe we will see some flowers next week.
