Wedding pictures

We got the photos of the wedding from the photographer, so it's time to share a few.  We got so many pictures, that it's hard to even choose some to share. I'm going to share a few today, and then some of the others later this week, so you don't get too sick of them!

The tables at the reception had burlap runners to go with the vintage, shabby chic theme. There was babies breath in ball jars and candles.  Each guest went home with a little jar of homemade jelly.

Classic ring photo

Heather chose some shoes with a bit of bling!  The necklace and bracelet were made by our niece Alecia.  Aren't they pretty?

Here I am, actually having make-up put on for me.  That was a new experience, but fun!

The guys with their suspenders, bowties and hats.

They braved the cold to get some snow shots!

Our beautiful bride!

 Here's our family shot.

I'll end with this sweet shot.  Bob was playing with Alaina while we were waiting downstairs for the guests to be seated.  Alaina gave Bob a kiss and the photographer managed to catch it.
I'll share some pictures from the wedding later this week.

The snow shot! I love that. And I can't believe how much Heather reminds me of Alaina in her gorgeous bride close-up. You, Heather, and Alaina are like three-generation identical triplets. And speaking of Alaina, leave it to her to get the most gusto out of every last moment, including snogging grandpa in her spare time. What a card. I'll never get tired of seeing these happy pictures! xoxo

I love the blue glass with the white flowers! And the simplicity here, the serenity of an old-fashioned wedding...seems like a good way to trade stress for bliss and enjoy the day!

Oh Alaina, you little squirrel! She stole the show!

My favorite picture is #8. The picture of Heather's beautiful face and bouquet. I love that bouquet. I love flowers and sticks. You know how I have such a love affair with sticks.

I also saved the family photo. I kept all you Michigan girls' wedding pictures. You would think that I was your grandmother or something. :)

The wedding was so stylish and you all looked very nice.

I think it's especially cool they got some nice outside snow shots.

What great shots, much more unusual than the normal boring shots you see nowadays. I like the old world feel about it all too. Love the bling shoes. Well I would of course. Nothing like a bit of bling to perk things up!
