Changing Seasons

If you've read this blog for any period of time, you know that winter is not my favorite season. I hate driving on bad roads, and I seem to spend months being cold! However, I have to tell you that I'm really glad I live in a place that experiences all 4 seasons. There's not time to get too sick of a type of weather, because it won't be long and it will change. There is a unique beauty to each season and I so enjoy seeing it. I so often marvel at our creators work in the changing seasons. As it gets a little warmer here, my view out the windows at work change daily. Here are some pictures to give you an example from last week.

This day had been foggy.  The fog left when the sun rose, but all the low lying plants were left encased in this frozen fog.  It was gorgeous in the sunlight.

The next day was even foggier, and it took all morning to burn off.

It has it's own beauty, don't you think?

"While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."
Genesis 8:22

Gorgeous...but you know I love winter. That hoar frost is always fun to see...we only get it a few times a year and I think it is so cool!

Those pics are beautiful. Fog is okay except when trying to drive in it, especially at night.

I saw your Happy, Happy, Happy post. It does feel like we're rounding that bend, doesn't it? Hallelujah!

I hope you don't have to drive in that fog. If you do, please be careful.

I live in a country where we experience all 4 seasons too, and as much as I'm not a fan of winter or autumn I'm still pleased we have them as it means I appreciate Spring and Summer even more! Lovely foggy photos.

We had fog here too. This time it didn't freeze.....we've had some amazing temps :) Winter is not my favorite but surely can be pretty.
Enjoy today!

Beautiful. I agree, I am so glad we live in a 4 season state, unlike Alabama, where it is one season: HOT. LOL Blessings

Each season has its own beauty. Living in AZ, we have beautiful, warm winters, but the summer heat is becoming more and more unbearable. I think a little snow would be nice every now and then - emphasis on the word little! So glad you are seeing spring slowly creep into your world! Have a great week!

Your images are so lovely, Mari! I love the way the sun is shining through the fog - such beauty!

Happy Monday!

Amen Mari! I'm with you and I can't imagine living anywhere that didn't have all 4 seasons! Especially our beautiful Falls. And I couldn't imagine having the holidays without snow and cold.

However, all that being said - I still plan on being snowbird someday and going somewhere warm for Jan - April! Lol

I enjoy the seasons through other people's eyes now. I must say that I really have no desire to deal with snow and ice, ever again. Florida's very subtle season changes work just fine for me!

Great photos, and I love how you captured the fog! Wow!

Yes, I think so and I complain about winter but love the change of seasons.

I think there is something (a lot) to love in every season. I'm glad you appreciate all of them too.

After 50 years of 6-9 months of snow in the Foothills of the Colorado Rockies, I have no desire to have the drastic changes of seasons...aka SNOW. We here in south Texas have the 4 seasons, cold/damp, beautiful spring, dreadful summers, and fabulous autumns.

Love the biblical quote. And your beauties from your window.

LOVE the fog! It's absolutely beautiful! I'm with you on not counting winter on my favorite season, but you're right that it has its good points as well. At least it helps us appreciate summer more. ;)

Yes, I agree with you, Mari.. The seasons are so beautiful and are passed before we get too tired of them . I must say I am a bit tired of snow.. grin.. Your pics are lovely. Take care. xo

I'm with you...I don't much like winter, but I do love the change of seasons. We lived in Florida for a while and it did help me realize that I missed the changing of the seasons.

Your pictures are beautiful! Our Creator is marvelous beyond words! His works are just amazing! Thank you for sharing!

While I like having four seasons, I do NOT miss those Michigan winters :) Just too long and too cold! But I do enjoy seeing all the photos you post. These were very cool, with an almost ethereal look to them.
