The Henry J

Bob's brother Rog is a car buff.  He always has a project he's working on.  In the picture below, you can see his current project, one that's covered next to it on the left and the rear of another one behind it.

This car is a Henry J, which is an uncommon car.  This car was made by the Kaiser Corporation between 1950 and 1954.  Take note of the split windshield.

This one even has an owners manual with it.

Look at that little trunk!

Rog has a lot of old car related memorabilia around.  I really like this old gas pump.
Someday I'll share a picture of the Henry J when it's done.

That old vintage car is a real treasure. Thank goodness there are those who love these old and wonderful pieces of history and days of the past. Love the gas pump. Both the car and the pump bring mack memories.

Being that I have 3 brothers, I have always wanted to do something like this...restore an old car.

How fun.

Can't wait for the 'finished' post. Looking forward to that day.

I love old cars...so interesting. This one is a real piece of history. Can't wait to see what it looks like when it is all restored. My hubby restored an old Mustang Mach I. It was a lot of work, but fun to see how great it looked after each step. Thanks for sharing these fun pictures. Have a great week!

I've not heard of that classic car, but will start watching for the split windshield when I'm at a car show - just in case someone else has one. I look forward to seeing the restored vehicle!! There are lots of folks out there with a passion for classic cars!!

It will be nice to see it when it is finished. He must get great satisfaction in restoring these cars to their original look. So fun!

Fascinating. I've never heard of the Henry J but in the old movies I love to watch, there are some split windshields. Please do show us when Rog has worked all of his magic!

I enjoy seeing these old cars restored. I love how "Henry J" is written on the trunk. Any idea what color the car will be?

I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done, it looks like it needs a lot of work. Does he sell them afterwards?
