Snowy Day

We had several snowy days here last week, followed by some cold and sunny days on the weekend. Saturday morning it was just beautiful, but I was working, which really impedes any photography! I took a few pictures out of the windows of the nursing home to try to give an idea of what it looked like.

I love the early morning in the winter. Everything takes on a blue tint, and if we're lucky, we get this pink as the sun comes up.



These grassy weeds are on the edge of the lawn in the back, and they looked so pretty covered in snow. Do you see the rabbit tracks?




The pink changing to gold as the sun comes up.



Look at that sun shine! The snow on the trees didn't last long once the sun game out, but it was still cold. Sunday morning when I went in to work the thermometer read 0 degrees. Hopefully it won't stay this cold for long!

Your pictures are beautiful as always. You just seem to capture the greatest moments in time. I hear were susposed to get more snow this coming weekend so you can do it again.LOL

Love the photos! Sucks when ya have to work! LOL More snow coming so take a drive on your day off and see what you can find. I will be looking forward to seeing your pictures. Oh, I really like the last pic with the sun shining through the tree. Almost makes me want to squint my eyes.

What beautiful photos even though it looks so cold.
I took some of our snow storm but we did not have any sun to go with it.
It was -9 when I came in to work this morning. My car did not start so had to drive hubs van.
