Works for me Wednesday

It's Wednesday, and that means Kristen will have lots of great ideas listed at her blog. Check them out at We are THAT Family.

Do you ever make cooked pudding? It tastes so much better than the instant kind. However, we aren't fans of the skin that forms on the top as it cools. If you put Plastic wrap over the top, and then press it right onto the top of the pudding, no skin will form!

I like pudding but only if it has stuff mixed in like nuts or chocolate chips and whipped cream. Good idea!

I agree with homemade being WAAAAY better than instant. And it's so easy to make! I use this trick too. 'Cause puddin' skins are icky! :)

Great tip! I do this too, especially when I make ice-cream and the custard has to sit in the fridge for a few hours!

The skin is the best part. Ever since I was a kid, I would spoon off the skin and eat it with relish.
