Good mail day!

It's been really busy at work lately. We have some difficult patients, a few too many consultants and have had quite a few admissions for rehab. This means they don't stay long and there is a lot of work involved for us with both admissions and discharges. Along with that, one of the day nurses is on vacation for two weeks. This leaves lots of days to work for my friend Nancy and I. Today I worked late because Thursday is the day our Dr makes rounds and all the orders and paper work have to be finished after he leaves.
Knowing that, imagine how happy I was to come home and find that a wonderful package had been delivered today!
This collection of goodies came to me from Sharon, of Quiet Reflections. She had a giveaway to celebrate her blogging anniversary. There is tea, chocolate and a devotional book. It sounds like just what I need! Thanks Sharon - I know I'll enjoy it all.

Thanks Mari for chasing Ginger's link and visiting my blog. Ginger is someone I always enjoy communicating with.

It sounds like you're a buys person. Drop in anytime.

God bless.

Mari,

The package would have been well received, I'm sure. It is delightful.

We quit working on the apartment around 8pm. In fact I stopped around 4pm and grilled hamburgers and chicken burgers for everyone. That was it for me. Jack went back upstairs and worked until 8pm. He has to work tonight from 11 to 3am, so he will be tired.

Take care, my friend and have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings,
Mary

Wasn't that great to end the day with a positive?!
I've had a challenging week at work, too. Yesterday, I took care of the mother of one of my previous nursing instructors, and she was there, too. That was kind of weird for me.
Nursing is a funny profession to me, filled with hard work, feel good experiences, and so much more. Hope your days will flow, and you aren't too tired at the end of your stretch.

I just love the way God works - His timing is ALWAYS perfect. I was feeling kind of bad that I sent it out later than I wanted...with God it's always perfect timing. Enjoy Mari!!

You might want to check my blog again so you can read the story about the HGTV Dream Home. I accidentally hit publish post before I had the text written.

What a treat! My hubby used to be a CNA - tough work especially when you're short handed!
