Slow Cooking Thursday

This is one of those "fix it and forget it" recipes. Put everything in the crockpot and turn it on - you don't have to do anything else. Later you just set it on the table and eat! The name is autumn pork chops (because of the color) but it is good all year long.

Autumn Pork Chops

6 pork chops

9 - 12 large carrots

3/4 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons melted butter or oleo

1 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons orange juice

Trim excess fat from chops. Peel carrots and cut into large pieces. Mix rest of ingredients and set aside. Place 3 chops on bottom of crockpot. Layer carrots over chops, then place remaining chops on top. Spread brown sugar mix over top. Cover and cook on low for 5 -6 hours until done. Enjoy!
