Christmas program

It's the season for Christmas programs and we got to go to Alaina and Ruby's program last week.  Covid has stopped the program for a few years, and it was so nice to have it again this year.
This was the school program for kindergarten to 5th grade.

This was the kindergarten group singing.  There was a near disaster when the boy on the right had an issue with his pants and they started to fall down.  The music teacher had to come up and do some wardrobe adjustments, but all turned out ok!

After the kindergarten group got done, the 1st and 2nd graders came up to sing, and we spotted Ruby.  She was enjoying herself!

Here is the 1st and 2nd grade singing.

After the 3rd grade got done, the 4th and 5th grade came up.   Alaina saw us and gave a little wave.

Here's her group singing with lights.  They also did a song where they played ukuleles.
It was a really cute program and so fun to be there

Here's our girls after the program.

And a picture of the whole family - Laura, Aaron, Alaina and Ruby.

I used to love those Christmas programs at my boys school. The little guy who almost lost his drawers made me smile. Poor kid. Your granddaughters are cute.

The girls are so beautiful for the program! I love going to the school programs, they are such fun. Using the lights was such a good idea. The little boy on the right does look like his pants are way too big!

Beautiful girls Mari!!
And I know just how traumatized the boy would be for the rest of his life...glad the mishap was prevented.

You made me laugh out loud with the comments about the little boy's pants falling down. Such a happy post. Thanks for the mirth!

What a beautiful picture of the family and wow those girls are so big and gorgeous and I love they way they enter into activities with such enthusiasm! That program looks great. Dagny had hers at school last Thursday night but by Saturday she was sick with flu and had to miss the church program last night. She's been here with me all day, sleeping mostly. She has a piano recital this Thursday night so fingers crossed! xoxo

Nice that you were able to go to the program. It's been many years since we've had little kids.
The kids at church will be putting on a program this week though, so that should be fun.

Oh how I miss having Christmas programs to go to. Christmas is best spent with children by your side . . . they are so involved in every detail of it and their enthusiasm has a way of rubbing off on everyone around them :)
Merry Christmas and God bless you and your family. Great family photo!

I'm sorry to be late getting here, Mari, but I wouldn't miss this for the world. The girls are both so pretty and Ruby is as tall as Alaina!! I'm sure the program was amazing!! Loved the photos! xo
