Cooking Thursday

Last week I shared a recipe for The Pioneer Woman Spaghetti Sauce, and told you this week I would share a recipe that you could use the same sauce for.  It's another recipe from The Pioneer Woman and it's another good one!

Italian Sloppy Joe

Pioneer Woman Spaghetti Sauce
Garlic bread
Mozzarella Cheese

Heat Garlic bread in oven as directed.  While it's browning, heat the spaghetti sauce until it's hot and bubbly. Spoon spaghetti sauce over a slice of garlic bread, top with a slice of mozzarella cheese and place under broiler until cheese is melted.

Quick, easy and a great way to use leftover spaghetti sauce!  If you use another sauce for this, be sure to use one that's meaty or your bread will be soggy.

An updated version of **** on a shingle! LOL My mom did toast with shredded beef gravy sometimes. I'm sure your version is MUCH better tasting!

I know Ellen would love this! I would too if I could find GF garlic bread :)

What a good idea, thanks. Always have left over sauce.

WOW this sounds good. We had spaghetti last night (made the lazy way, Classico Sweet Basil, hahaha) and since it's a very meaty sauce, this would work well for the leftovers. Thanks, Mari! xoxo
