It's invitation time

We're deep into wedding prep here! A few weeks ago, we spent the evening putting together wedding invitations.  Bob and Andrew joined us and did a good job!

We had already printed and trimmed the RSVP's and part of the invitations.

We had to glue layers together, add twine ties, lace and a tag.

Here's a stack that is almost done.

And here is the finished product. Last week, we spent an evening addressing the envelopes and they were sent out on Friday.  It's great to have something else checked off the list!

Such fabulous work!!! And to have the menfolk join in is also fabulous. They look great. I think you can add me to the reception that follows immediately. Okay? I promise to behave.

Seriously Mari, this is so exciting.

Oh, and trying to catch up a bit on what I've been missing....that winter weather post below this. BRRRR. I saw a few photos of Michigan and the lake with 'winter art' and thought of you right away.

Stay warm.

They came out beautifully. I love seeing everyone working on them together. You have such a loving family. I did all of my invitations by myself and it was a lot of work for one person. I've missed a few of your posts lately because my blog-reader was acting up and losing new posts on me. I hope all is well with you.

Oh they are just darling, Mari. I love the rustic theme. I think Bob should have carved them all out of wood, though. Haaaahahaha just kidding. Love to all in these final days of preparation. I can't wait to see the wedding pictures. xoxo
