My Everyday Life

My friend over at Sweet Tea shared a challenge yesterday that she is taking part in.  She wants us to take pictures of our everyday life on the 1st of each month and post them.  I thought it would be a fun thing to do, so here's a little photo diary of my day.

7:40 am - It was a cool but beautiful morning.  I took the back way in to work, and enjoyed seeing everything in the early morning light.

7:42 am - these ducks were enjoying the morning too.

7:50 - I'm at work.  This is the sign on the door.  We've had the state of Michigan surveyors here this week.  They are here for our annual survey.  It's always a week we dread, as they aren't always the nicest people.  So far it seems to be going well, but you never know till they give their exit interview on Friday.

12pm - Thursday is the day our Dr comes.  I work with him every week.  I keep track of who he sees and get the charts and information ready for him.  The surveyors were in the room we usually use, so we were tucked into a little storage room today, which was a little crammed, but it worked!  These are just a few of the charts we used today.

Thursdays are always a late day for me, but with the state people there, today was worse than usual.

6:20 - coming home.  The day that started so pretty, is now raining and dreary.

6:40 - Today is National Day of Prayer.  We met with some people from our church to pray for our country and our church.  It started at 6:30 so I was a little late!

8:30 - home relaxing!  Bob is trying to eat a piece of cheesecake, but Oliver feels that he needs to be on his lap.
It was a busy but good day - thanks for tagging along!

That was a long day! I remember the survey people from last year. Glad it seems to be going well. You deserve cheesecake after all of that!

So glad I had the time to stop by and visit you today - I enjoyed being privy to your day, even though it was a long, tiring one for you. Thank you for mentioning my blog. I really like this idea and plan to to try to remember and do this the first of each month.

How well I remember the JCAH visits. We planned for days and were as nervous as cats when they came. I agree, you needed 2 pieces of that cheesecake for such a long day.

Oh how well do I remember State surveyors. Sounds like a good way to start your day and end it:) I'm with the hubby, finish with cheesecake.

Oh my, a very LOOONNGGG day for you, Mari. My day starts early, but we have to clear out by 5:30 because of security, which is really a good thing. Makes us go home. The cats always want to be where the action is (eating action, that is)!! The cheesecake looks yummy!

Your day seems really busy! I can tell that you love your work and that you're instrumental there. I hope Bob was able to eat his cheesecake eventually. :)

Girl you work so hard. The years sure do fly by between times those surveyors come. I'm glad that's behind you for another year and I'm sure that as usual, y'all will pass with flying colors. Enjoy your weekend. xoxo

Hope you did well with the survey. Looks like I won't need to worry about those any more. You did have a long day.

I'm glad you are doing the day thingy. We got a surprise when we visited SIL at her nursing home yesterday. New Owners took over on May 1. Lots of people were all over the place. Nurse Bells were answered more quickly and everyone seemed extra busy. We met the new DON and liked him immediately. Not that we ever saw anything wrong with the other owners, but everyone seemed extra friendly and helpful yesterday.

Hi Mari! It's always fun to have a little glimpse into a someone's life, so thanks for sharing! It does seem that inspectors raise the 'nervous level' at work. My daughter just had their inspection (school) and it was a big deal.

Love the photo of your poor husband trying to enjoy his dessert! I'm sure he got to eat it :)
Hope you had a good weekend my friend,
Ceil

What a lovely idea! It was fun to see "a day in the life" of Mari :)

I'm kinda behind on reading blogs because we're traveling now.
