Woe is me...

We've had quite a winter this year.  January wasn't too bad, but February made up for it.  It's been a season of school cancellations, and lots of evening events like the Bible study I go to on Tuesday night.  I think we cancelled 3 times in 5 weeks!
Winter has never been my favorite, but I take solace in its beauty, and the fact that it makes Spring all the better.  :)   I've been seeing posts from people who are talking about their Spring bulbs coming up, but our yard is still covered in snow.  Spring arrives this week, but in West Michigan the prediction is below average temperatures and above average precipitation - AKA more snow!  As a matter of fact, there's a snow storm going on right now.
However, as Eeyore said - we don't have earthquakes (or hurricanes) here.  And - Spring is on the way!

haha...oh, that is a cute quote from Eeyore! It is weird to still feel like winter and see the southern states talk about their tulips and forsythia. ha. And the poor Canadians probably feel even worse!
I have a feeling we aren't done with the snow either!

well down south... we do have flowers and pollen and wind... which brings on sneezes and allergies... lots of people down our way are sick... lots of bronchitis and pneumonia still going on... snow is pretty...

Spring is dragging it's feet isn't it? Boy is it going to be welcome when it finally arrives!

Our snow is fading away :-( We love the fluffy stuff, though so we are quite sad.

We've had freezing rain the past week... I eagerly await spring.

We are still getting cold temps and that wind,WOW. We need the moisture but I do not want to see more of that white stuff.
I am so waiting for warmth.
I do agree with Eeyore no quakes.

I really do hope you all start getting some Spring. Can't believe you're still dealing with that much snow. Ugh!

I sooo wish I could send you some of our heat. Your winter is really very long this year, even I think so. But I think some of the cooler air is coming down south, because we are having come wonderful cooler days. I hope the warmth is soon to come for you!

I know what you mean about cold. It is frosty here. But, spring is on its way. Hope all is well. I just got discharged again yesterday. Another long story connected to the chest pains. I will hopefully get back to blogging again soon. Take care!

I know it's getting old. Hang in there. If it's any consolation it's 72 degrees here today and there's a slime of neon pollen on everything ... oh, wait. What I meant to say was, if it's any consolation I'm going to Knoxville this weekend for Audrey's birthday. On Friday -- her actual birthday -- the forecast is a high of 43, with persistent rain. Going now to locate my boots, gloves, and scarf.

I can honestly say we haven't had much in the way of winter here. Even getting more rain is usually the norm if no snow, but even that has remained elusive this year. I am not looking forward to summer where I hope we don't have huge firestorms this year.

We have already had our earthquakes this year even though blessedly they have been small.

So much for March coming in or out like a lion, it's been lamb-like the whole month!

The Eeyore quote made me smile :) We just missed a big storm; the day we flew out of Chicago to come back to Argentina, they canceled 900 flights -- but that was after we'd already left. Whew!

Our Spring and Summer have been the rainiest in years. We just came off a week long period of almost constant rain, and boy, was I ever happy to see the sun! It will be a while before the ground dries out though and meanwhile our yard is mostly a mud pit. We just keep a rug by the front door and are grateful that we're not experiencing a drought like the previous few years!

We are having an unusually cold winter for the UK. But yes the spring bulbs are all out, and that makes me feel that we must be getting to the end of this cold spell soon!

It has been crazy as usual in WA. Monday sunny and sweatshirt weather, heat off, Tuesday rainy, heat on, Tuesday night warm, heat off, Wed rainy, heat on...see what I mean.
