Wall Expression Party

My friend Melissa invited me to a Wall expression party at her house last week. I'm sure you've seen the verses or quotes on a wall. We could order something like that, but this party had a twist. We each got to make a sign, with a saying of our choice, and were able to choose the color and size we wanted!

Align RightHere we are gathered in Melissa's garage, picking out colors, sayings, boards...

Then it's time to paint...

While we waited for the paint to dry, we had some goodies and did a little talking.

Then it was time to get the saying positioned and rub it on...

And then - the big reveal! Peeling off the backing to see how it looks!

Some of us sanded the edges of our sign to finish it.

Here are our finished products. I think they all turned out great!

This is the sign I made.

And here it is in my Dining room. I've been looking for something to put in that spot for a while and I really like this.
The name of this business is Mandy's Wall Expressions. If you live in West Michigan and would like to do something like this or want to order something for yourself, check out Mandy's site. It's full of good things!

That is a really neat idea! I might have to mention this to my cousin. She does wall stuff for a living! Great idea! Yours looks great!

That is such a beautiful, decorative piece and you made it yourself. What a great feeling! It looks fantastic Mari and finishes that artistic collection! I have a friend around here who makes old country signs all year to give them away at Christmas!! Cool idea!

We've made similar signs at church craft nights, but I love the idea of having a party to do it.

What a neat party idea Mari and so fun! This would be the perfect thing for a girl's night out get together!

All of the signs turned out beautiful but "Faith, Family, Friends" is what it's all about!

Everything looks great! My neighbor does the signs for another company. She does nice too.
What fun to do it with a bunch of friends.

I've seen quotes on wall but have never heard of Mandy's Wall Expressions. This does look like fun and something I would definitely love to do. I don't live in Michigan but you never know when something like this may come to WA. I enjoyed the pictures. The finished products are great.

That is a really neat idea. All the signs turned out great and the placement of yours is awesome! Sometimes it is best to wait for the right thing to hang up.
