I thought it was time to show you our Christmas tree. We had to start using an artificial tree quite a feww years ago becuse of kids with allergies. I miss the smell of a fresh tree, but it is nice not to have to worry about watering it or picking up dry needles. We got this tree 2 years ago and it is pre-lit. Of course we still end up winding lights through the middle of it, so they sparkle form the inside, but it does look really pretty when it's lit up.
Here are a few of my favorite ornaments. I apologise for the poor pictures. When I used the flash they were washed out, but without they look a little dark. You can get the idea of what they look like though. These first 2 are some of Bob's carved Santa's. They are each a little different. I like their old fashioned feel.
This is my newest ornament. I found this at the florist shop where Laura works part time. They had some really pretty ornaments, and again, this has a timeless quality to it.

Mari,
I love your tree! I love visiting people's homes at this time of year just to see their trees. :)
I'll begin posting our traditions too over the next couple of weeks.
I stopped by to get some slow cooker recipes. :) Making me a menu for the next few weeks!
WOW! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! I just love Christmas! Thanks for sharing, Mari!

Beautiful Mari! I love Bob's carvings! Again he is so talented!
Your tree is so beautiful ! I love how many lights it has on it !!! And I think my favorite of your decorations is a tie. The one that says JOY and the snow flake. I love those ones ! Can't wait to see the Christmas Tour of your home.
I am always so amazed by Bob's carvings. He has such a gift! Has he ever done any snowman? I am guessing not many people have such beautiful homemade Christmas ornaments on their trees. What a treasure to be passed down.
Smiles!
Your tree looks great. I haven't posted mine either because I'm waiting for the tour of homes.
Your tree is so pretty! I love all the white lights! Once the kids are out of the house I think we'll change to just the white lights too.
Bob is so gifted! Awesome ornaments!
I'll have to stop by your house on Friday to check it out in person.
Beautiful ornaments! So far I have been able to keep gettin a real tree. I smell it every time I walk in the house. hmmmmm hmmmm good
Mari, I love your tree, it is beautifull, especially with the ribbon cascading from the top. And thank you for sharing some of your favorite ornaments. :)

It looks so pretty! And I love all those ornaments - the glass one looks really nice on your tree!
Beautiful tree!! I too love to see other people's trees. I'm excited to see the rest of your Christmas decorations.
I have never thought to wind lights up the middle of the tree. It sounds like a great idea, though. Do you put them on the branches too, when you do this, or do you just wrap them around the pole in the middle?
Precious Mari!

Mari,
Just beautiful!

That's a beautiful tree! I do love a tree!
Thanks for the pictures of your tree. I am hoping to go cut one down today. We have no decorations up, no presents bought, no nothing.... And it's my BIRTHDAY! It's just after 2 p.m. so maybe, just maybe, it's not too late. I have been contemplating a lot of things today. I am seeking advice! Stop by my page if you have a chance.....Thanks.
What a gorgeous tree! I can't believe how many presents are already wrapped under there! The Santas are gorgeous, what a perk for you!
