Carving Contest

Some time ago, Bob entered one of his caricature carvings into a contest done by Woodcarving Illustrated Magazine. A few months ago he got an email that said he was a finalist in the contest, and the winners would announced in the November magazine.
The magazine arrived Saturday...

...with the announcement of the contest on the front page.

And after paging through the magazine - there was his carving; 'Self Made Man', which is a carving of a man carving himself out of a block of wood. It got an honorable mention, which is quite an honor, from among all the entries!
Of course - I think he's a winner all the time!
