It's good to be home!

Saturday morning we were up bright and early.  We had a shuttle to the airport at 3:30am! We boarded the plane at 5:30am.

It was a beautiful morning.  The sun was peeking over the mountains as we waited to take off.

Flying over canyons.

We landed in Denver, and had a short layover before we took off again.

Look at these fluffy clouds!

Approaching Lake Michigan.

Flying into Grand Rapids!
It was such a wonderful trip, but it's so good to be back home again.
Thanks for following along on this trip.  I know it's been a lot of posts, but I wanted to document it here for myself too.  Next week I'll return to normal!

So amazing how you can go from flying over desert and rocks, to flying over a lake in just a few hours. ;) Glad you had a great trip!

Glad you made it back safely! Now I have two homes I feel that "it's good to be back home" in 2 different places. AZ and back here in Surrey. Both places feel like home to me.

I enjoyed following along on your trip. I am sure that you were tired when you got home. You had to rest from your vacation. Glad you made it home safely.

It was a lovely trip and I feel honored to have been able to tag along. It is also nice to know that you are home safe. I'll bet sleeping in your own bed was heaven :) It doesn't matter how nice of a place we have to stay in away from home . . . there is never a better place than home.
I like going back through my posts, too and remembering all the things that we have done through my blogging years.
Have a sweet weekend and rest up from your vacation, LOL.
Connie :)

It's always good to get home. You have really taken some good pictures. Those taken from the plane give me goosebumps. I am afraid to fly. :)I loved seeing the buffalo, and one of my favorite places you visited is the old building from "Gunsmoke". We still watch Gunsmoke every day, even though we have seen them all.
