Cooking Thursday

Here is a quick and easy, light meal for you. We usually have a light meal on Sunday evenings and this is one we always enjoy.

Tuna Melts

1 12 ounce can tuna, drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
 8 hamburger buns
Stir tuna, soup and cheese together.
Split buns and spread tuna mix over each half.  Broil until lightly browned.  Enjoy!

Yum!! I used to make something similar when we were young and on a tight grocery budget. Maybe I should make them again!!

If only we liked tuna! I guess that you could use something else though quite easily. Great idea! xx

Oh, yum. They remind me of eating in an old-fashioned diner or coffee shop.

Hmm... I am not a big tuna eater, I do have can chicken though....wonder if that will work. Blessings Mari.

That looks delish. We usually have one evening a week we're it's basically as easy as I can make it without ordering out. This sounds like a winner. I would probably add a salad...it's standard operating procedure around here! LOL!

I've never liked tuna unfortunately, but my Mom loves it! I'm going to share this with her and I bet she will make it often.
Happy Thursday sweet Gal and blessings to you. xoxo

I know we'd like these! :)

Kind of like tuna casserole without the bread.

These remind me of a sandwich I made years ago. I remember making a sandwich with the mix, wrapping it in foil and baking it in the oven a bit. I can't remember all the ingredients.....just the tuna part.

This one sounds easy and good.
