Enough, already!

I've told you about the crazy winter we've been having.  Last week we had a few days of relief from the snow before it hit hard on Thursday.  Here's a before and after shot from our yard.

We have this glass globe hanging near our front walk and driveway.  I took this picture on Wednesday because I liked the way the snow looked piled up on the globe.

And here's the same spot on Friday:

We got about 9 inches of snow from Thursday to Friday morning.  The globe is now covered and only the top of the post is showing.  The snow is a little deeper here because of extra from the driveway, but there's still a lot of snow out there!  I'm ready for Spring.  :)

We're having a drought this winter, and I'm still ready for Spring. I can only imagine how you must feel!

I'm ready for spring too. But I know we need the moisture.....

Nope, bring on the snow!! We love it and we haven't had nearly enough of the white stuff yet ;-)

As much as I hate to say it: We need snow or some kind of moisture. Send it our way if you can! (I can't believe I just said that!)
But seriously, we're in the worst drought and if we don't get some moisture we will be in big trouble this summer. Our town has already had water restriction, but now we will only be able to water 4 hours a week unless we get some good wet snow or many spring rains.
I know how you feel though. We had some large storms when we lived in Flagstaff and we'd get so tired of it.

Wow, I can't imagine, especially since I was walking barefoot and in a sleeveless top on the beach this morning. Later I went shopping for a new swimsuit since we've got two trips coming up. Grrrr...swimsuit shopoing is not fun. Painful actually. It "almost" made me want to live somewhere where bathing suits aren't needed. LOL

Stay warm sweet friend and be careful on the road.

Hugs,
Kat

I would like one more good snow storm--not blizzard--and then spring can come. We've not gotten near what you have, but what we did get was beautiful. Of course, I get snow days so I don't have to shovel and drive in it. ;>)

I enjoy the pretty pictures, but I'm content to just look at them and not experience it myself :)

I'm with you...come on Spring! All our snow is melted now, nothing but a small patch here and there. That makes me think it's time for another round of snow...oh, I hope not!

I am loving this! We are FINALLY having a true Michigan winter. I will be ready for spring come mid-March, but I am glad that we got a few snow storms this year and I'm ready for a few more.

We need some moisture so bad but all of the storms go around us.
We don't need that much all at once however.
I have a new blogsite
Blessed Old lady and I hope you stop by.
Old one was New Country Girl and I had to delete that

Oh girl that's beautiful but yeah ... let's move on. I remember one year when we lived in NW Indiana, on April 1st -- no fooling -- there was a snowstorm. It began snowing in the early afternoon and by the time TG got home from work that night, it had blown and drifted until it was knee-deep for him outside our front door. And he's six foot four. Good times.

Here it's been nothing but rain. But I love rain so that's OK.
