Here's an idea I saw on Pinterest. Put a few strips of wood on the inside of a cabinet door, then screw in some eye hooks. You can then hang measuring cups and spoons from them. This space is usually not used and it makes these items easily accessible.
Bob did this for me a few months ago and the only downside I've found is the noise it makes if I open the door too quickly. Other than that, it's cleared a little spot in the cabinet and made these items easy to grab.

Neat idea. Pinterest is full of good ideas, isn't it.
What a great idea...Pinterest has so many good ideas; I have enjoyed making my boards....
I thought that looked handy when I saw it on Pinterest. I can imagine the clanging but it's only for a few seconds. You're so clever, Mari.
Love it! What a great idea!
I like that idea. It saves the clutter of measuring spoons and cups everywhere.
Very clever idea!
That is a very clever idea. I am always looking for my measuring spoons.
Thanks for sharing
Belated birthday to your daughter.
I have several sets...I bet I could free up a whole drawer if I did that!
That's a good idea. Ya, the rattling would bug me some.
My immediate thought was the noise, and the possibility of everything flying off the door all the time! My kids are quite heavy handed with stuff in the house! Nice idea though if you are short on space.
Well perhaps you can convince hubby to take 'em down and then get some inexpensive pieces of felt and tack it on the cupboard 'wall'.
I like this idea. Mine are in a drawer and I have to dig 'round all the other junk to get to them.
Will tell Bud about this. Yes, you can find a lot of interesting ideas/and clever ones on Pinterest.
ps...a belated happy birthday wish to sweet Heather. Love the photo in the post below. Darling.
I actually saw this at a friends house before I saw it on pinterest, she had a paper towel taped under the utensils for the noise! I want to do it too, minus the paper towel!
I'm going to send this picture to Jeremy. He has so few drawers and is always looking for ways to store things.
