Monday the 21st is Andy's birthday. He's been a blessing to us from the day he was born!
He is currently stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He's been really busy lately so he has hasn't been able to come home, but it's nice having him close enough to make an occasional trip back here and hopefully it won't be too long before he gets another break.

I know what you mean about blessing from the very beginning. I feel that way about 'my Doug'. His Dad and I sat next to each other at our granddaughters' dance recital. His wife was on his other side. (Doug was on my left and then his girlfriend and her mom. We tend to get some people talking when we sit together like that, but hopefully they learn from it.)
Anyhow he was sharing a proud moment about Doug and how wonderful a father he is. I smiled and agreed. My ex and I do agree at least on Doug.:>)
We do love our Andy! Hope he has a great birthday. Soon he will be having birthday's at home!
