Works for me Wednesday

I'm a big list maker. When I have things I need to get done, I make a list. It helps keep me focused, and I love to cross things off that I've accomplished. The latest list I've made is a Christmas list. Now - don't get upset that I'm mentioning it. Christmas is 218 days away and you know how time can fly!
My list helps me remember to keep my eyes open for gifts for specific people, helps me avoid the rush when December arrives and helps me get more for my money by getting things when they are on sale.
Starting my Christmas list early works for me! For other tips, visit Kristen at We are THAT Family.

LOL I'm with Nancy on this one, I am not that organized and besides. I'm the type that will buy something and have to give it right away, I can't hold on to it.

I wish I was that organized. I think shopping year round for Christmas is a great idea....you're able to grab some bargains and not be so stressed out with last minute shopping in December!
Should I send my list to you now or later :-)

Just the other day I told someone how many days until Christmas! Yup, and just another month and a few days and the days are getting shorter! Imagine, some folks were mad at me, LOL!! Love being organized!

I need to do this too. It would make my life so much easier and a way to enjoy the holidays instead of all the stress that usually comes from no pre-planning.

I can't believe we're nearly at the year's midpoint and have to start thinking of Christmas. I love Christmas but the gift-buying presents a challenge. I wouldn't even know what to put on a list!

I couldn't function without a list. A list lets me get stuff out of my brain to make room for more stuff

My question is: where, yes where, do you make your lists? Do you have A notebook, or do you use several sheets of paper (that I tend to misplace here and there). How do you keep the organizer/list maker in you organized? Any tips from any other readers would help too. By the way, the list is a GREAT idea!

I just made my list too. This year, I devoted a notebook to the task. I'm hoping to get most of the shopping done in advance, so I can just enjoy the Christmas season.

I live by lists, too.

And some years I've had my shopping done by Halloween. But the last few Christmases have caught me shopping last minute.

Thanks for the reminder. Even if it did make me groan. :)

I´m with Kathy. The list idea is great, but I keep forgetting where I put it or don´t have it along, when I need it....
Great idea Mari!

I think you are so wise...

Not only works for you, but makes a whole lotta sense!!!

I make a list of jobs around the house to do. That's about it....I do attempt to make a list for groceries and invariably forget the list!!

LOL

I do make lists but I do not do shopping for Christmas this early.
If I write things down I can put them out of my mind until they need to be done. Especially when I think of things during the night - I write them down.
