Works for Me Wednesday

I seem to be accumulating more and more reward cards. You know the type; use this card 10 times and get the 11th item free, show this card and get a percent off, or use this card to get points toward a dollar amount to be used at our store. They offer great deals, but I had a problem. I could never find the card when it was time to check out. It could be in any number of pockets or slots in my wallet.
So - I was out shopping and I had an idea:

I found this little case being sold with wallets and purses. It's meant to hold bank and credit cards. I simply took all those reward cards and put them in the zippered section. There was a spot for my license in the front, and there are slots on the back for bank cards, insurance card...
This really does work for me. It's much easier to find this little case and then I just need to find the card inside.

I need that kind of little case. I'm always wasting time digging around for things in my bottomless pit of a purse. Thanks Mari!

those cards are pesky - i need to do that for our gift cards. jay gets them quite often from clients, but we find ourselves going out to eat and the cards are in the drawer at home.

I'm glad you found something that works. I like to use the little reward cards that fit on you key chain. Works great unless you lock you keys in your car...:)

Mari,
My wallet is to the point of being so overloaded I can't close it. I have a separate case for business cards, but I use several "To The Trade cards" I need to keep handy, and your idea is a good solution.

My purses always have to have many of those slots in them for just the reason you mentioned. If I just throw them in my purse, I might as well kiss them good-bye!

Another great idea.

OK, this is genius!!!! I am SO going to get one of these. Just the other day I was Ulta buying makeup...it's not cheap. It was a rather large bill and I couldn't find my rewards card and there was a long line of impatient customers breathing down my neck to hurry. Well, they weren't really breathing down my neck, but it felt like it. This little case would have been awesome to have.

It's the small things in life, I tell ya! lol

I like your idea. One thing that distresses me is that all this stuff in the purse makes for a very heavy purse. My shoulder gets tired carrying it all around.
But I love discount cards and coupons so I put up with it.

That's a great idea! I have the same problem. I can't ever find the card I need.

Mari! That is a really great idea! I can NEVER ever find the card I need! And then as soon as I leave the store I find it! Craziness! Thank you for this tip!

And thank you most of all for your constant encouragement and kindness to me! You are such a blessing.
