My sisters and I spent the painting on Wednesday. My stepmom is in Florida for a few weeks and my Dad wanted to surprise her by fixing up the dining room while she was gone. There was wallpaper on these walls and it was time for it to go. Dad took the paper down and Terri, Cheri and I came in and painted today. We ended up painting the hallway too. It was lots of work but it looked so nice when we finished. Ann should be happy when she comes home!

I love painting and redoing rooms or whatever needs a change. It is fun to see the end result. When I paint, I crank up the radio and go.
Terri, Cheri and Mari...I would have fit right in.

As someone who just had a family member do some painting for me....let me tell you what a blessing you girls are to your Dad and Stepmom.

It actually is kind of fun to do it together. It did turn out nice. I'll see what it looks like today with everything up!

Dad said today that he was glad we went darker with the paint color and that he's really happy with it.

Isn't it amazing how much a can of paint can transform things? I'm sure she'll be thrilled and how lucky your dad has 3 daughters to aid him in his surprise!
