Family Christmas party

On Saturday night we had the Christmas party for my side of the family. We all met at Terri's house. To keep things easy, we had pizza for supper.

Here are Laura, Heather and Bob waiting for the fun to begin.

Bob and Arianna are busy laughing at something, or someone!

This is my Dad and step mom Ann, showing a few of their gifts.

If you have read my blog in the past, you know that Santa sends letters to certain family members. Those who are on the "naughty" list receive a letter from him. These letters are given out after the gifts are opened and are read aloud to a laughing audience. Although Santa may be disappointed in someones behavior, he really has a good sense of humor and writes a pretty funny letter. He usually gives a small gift along with the letter to get his point across. This years letter recipients are:

My brother, Duane
.

My sister, Cheri
.

and Heather!
Don't you agree that they look like a naughty bunch? The amazing thing is that Terri didn't get a letter this year. Santa must not really know everything, after all!

Belated birthday

Saturday night we celebrated a very belated birthday for Heather. Her birthday was on Valentines Day and although we had the large family party, we hadn't done an evening with just our family. Heather has been house sitting for the past week, so it was nice to have her home for the evening.
Cleo was happy to see her too!

Here she is opening those late birthday cards.

Although I am teased for always wanting to play games on my Nintendo, here you see Aaron and Laura appearing to enjoy playing it too!
I'm always happy to have the kids home for an evening!

Party time

We had Bob's family party on Friday night. This year we rented a meeting room at a local hotel, because it's getting to be too much to have at any ones house.
Here are some of the kids, playing games. We have some card sharks here!
Chris, Heather, Grandma, Alecia
Here is Bob's sister Diane, attempting to look angelic.

We had pizza and goodies. No one left hungry!
There's a troublesome looking group of guys!

Andy and Laura having a good time catching up.
We had a good time, with lots of talking and laughter. We also said good bye to Bob's Mom who is leaving for Florida next week and won't be back till spring.
