The skies here in West Michigan have been quite beautiful lately. They've been filled with some amazing clouds. We're also starting to see some color on the trees.
Last week I had to go in to work very early to work part of a night shift. I started at 2:30 in the morning, then stayed until about 1 in the afternoon to get some of my regular work done. When I left, I was planning to go home and take a little nap, but it was so pretty out, that I took some extra time getting home. I drove some back roads and tried to capture a little beauty.
Here's a few of the photos I took. Some that are friends on facebook may have seen a few of these already.

Great pictures! I especially love the pumpkins in front of the barn, and the picture right after it. Wow, you have a lot of energy!
Beautiful pictures! I love to take pictures of trees and clouds too! I wish lived in the country!
2:30? I'd be dragging all day! Like Ginny I too favor the same two photos.
I am on the hunt for some pumpkins. Home Depot was sold out and I want a few for my front door.
Wow, beautiful. Cool and crisp here in western NY. smiles
The pictures were so amazing that I couldn't pick a favorite, thanks for sharing.
Those photos are all frame-worthy! Just beautiful!
Oh my such beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing with us.
That pumpkin wagon picture is the BEST!!! Autumn colors are truly hard to beat!
Wow, starting work at that hour of the morning!!!!!
We are still fairly green here in the UK but the leaves are falling, so it's only a matter of time before we see all the autumnal colours. Lovely photos.
SO gorgeous! I love that "lowering sky" shot. Good work. xoxo
