In our garage, by the back door, I put a new sign in the milk can.
In the Dining room, miniature ornaments are hung on the branches I keep in the corner, and the items on the shelves are switched.
Mistletoe is hung from the light.
In the living room, my little stand has a new sign, the mason jar is filled with red and green.
My little scale now holds a miniature nativity that we made in MOPS last year.
We don't have a fireplace, so the stockings are hung from a shelf. The stockings are identical, but the initials tell who each one belongs to.
The book shelf holds this jolly Santa that Bob carved several years ago.
This nativity is set up in our family room. It is the one Bob's family had and when his Mom downsized it came to us. It's very special!
This nativity is also very special. Laura made it when she was about 16. It is made from clay, and has many small pieces. An angel, baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, Wisemen, camels, Shepherds, cows, donkeys, sheep, even chickens!
And that's a taste of Christmas at our house.
I love your nativities.....Merry Christmas a bit early to you!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks just beautiful Mari! I love those nativities. That one your daughter made is adorable!! Christmas blessings to you my Dear! xoxo
ReplyDeleteAll lovely decorations, Mari. I'm afraid I'm very late this year. If I get them up at all it will be on the coming weekend, otherwise I might skip it as I'm going out of town for a few days. Happy holidays. xx
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to have missed your posts lately, Mari. My blog feed was not updating with your new posts at all. I loved seeing your decorations, especially the Nativity. She did such a nice job. I hope you and your family are doing well!
ReplyDeleteHi Mari, I enjoyed seeing your Christmas decor. Both Nativity sets are very special. I hope you enjoy your day. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your Nativity sets, Mari, and the special stories that go with them. I have a friend who collects Nativity sets and she displays them all year long. The milk can at your back door is such a great idea and you always have the perfect thing to display in it! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteVery festive!
ReplyDeleteThe nativities are my favorite Mari. Your house looks so festive!!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks lovely. I like the way you change things each year. I seem to put out the same stuff year after year. I have most of ours done but haven't done the porch yet, that's a big job and I have toothache so I can't motivate myself to do it.
ReplyDeleteLove all of your decorations and thank you for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteYour whole house looks so festive. Each vignette is very meaningful. I think that Bob's carvings are so special.

ReplyDeleteLovely and sweet, just like you! I finally got everything up and out and tweaked and fixed and lit and fluffed and arranged yesterday. I mean, I finished yesterday; I started everything the day after Thanksgiving. It takes me a while to get everything just the way I like it. And now, three weeks to enjoy! I love it! xoxo
