The muscadines are in season in North GA...my mother was handing them out on Saturday. Alas while I like the smell, not much for eating them. I hate the seeds!!
My Granny Kelly had a grape vine in her back yard, with purple grapes like those. We loved to pick them and eat them right from the vine. Swallowed the seeds too! LOL Lovely photo!
Ripe for the picking! I would love to have a grape vine someday...gotta wait until our dog 'grows up'. Maybe next season.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the grapes that my dad had growing along the fence, near the clothesline.

ReplyDeleteLove this, and like others it brings forth a nice memory. My uncle had a grapevine, and we used to love picking the grapes. :)

Love to pick the grapes right off the vine and eat them! You got a good picture of them.
ReplyDeleteI used to stand under my great aunt's grapevine and pick and eat grapes until I was sick. I love grapes to this day....
