I saw this new product in the store and decided to give it a try. I love oatmeal and especially with fruit in it.
This is a single serve container, quick and easy to make for those crazy mornings.
And here it is, all done. It's a little watery when it first comes out of the microwave. Let it sit for just a minute and it thickens up.
It was really tasty and easy. However - it cost $1.79 and that was on sale. The regular price is $1.99. It's handy but probably not something I'll get too often, since for that same cost you can get fruity oatmeal at McDonalds. Of course, this would save you time at the drive through!
Oh, that looks yummy! Wondering about calories though. Will check it out. My aunt raves about McD's oatmeal, but I haven't tried it yet either.

I am from the old school and dont care for instant anything, but for those that do, it looks like a good thing to have.
ReplyDeleteLooks good!
ReplyDeleteI'll take it, thank you very much. I too love oatmeal with fruit. In fact, anything oatmeal. I got this going now for breakfast...the Nature Valley Sweet and Salty [I think that is what it's called. LOL] ---Almond Oatmeal Bars. Yummy.
ReplyDeletePS...catching up on your most recent posts. Love the crock pot pot roast recipe. AND the old school house/residence. What a thrill. My aunt taught school in a one-room school house that looks quite similar. Now I'm wondering if it's still standing....out in the open fields of Nebr.
ReplyDeleteI'm for anything that saves me time, and if it is yummy, all the better! It really looks good. I'm not a big oatmeal (or any cereal) person, but I could do this in a pinch. Nice to have on hand. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteIt does look yummy but I enjoy the old fashion kind and then add my own fruit. I like it with sugar and cinnamon.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
So funny that you put this up, I went grocery shopping yesterday and saw these at the commissary. My daughter loves oatmeal in the morning and I almost picked them up but found them too pricey LOL
ReplyDeleteI looked at it while grocery shopping, liked the idea, but I too thought it was over-priced. Give me McDonalds!
ReplyDeleteI love oatmeal and eat it most mornings. Fruit added is wonderful. As good as the stuff from McDonald's is (I get it when we go on trips), I like it the way I prepare it best. I use old fashioned (not quick) oats and I add brown sugar, cinnamon, a dash of salt, and milk. It cooks in the microwave in just a few minutes. You may have inspired me to add blueberries next time. :~)
ReplyDeleteIt looks really good. On sale with a coupon wouldn't be too bad...especially if you were running late...too late for Micky D's!
ReplyDeleteHi Mari
ReplyDeleteI was in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop in on a dear blog friend...
I love oatmeal... and I especially love dried blueberries and cranberries to go with them. But we do not easily get dried blueberries here... only when someone from the States sends us a box of goodies.
Thanks for this post - it did make my mouth water.
Praying all is well with you...
Shalom
Lidia
It looks delicious!

ReplyDeleteI really like the fruity oatmeal at McD's, but agree that it is a little over-priced. :)
Looks a bit like rabbit food to me!! :D
ReplyDeleteWe actually have two of these (peach flavor) that I have never tried yet. Maybe I will now!
ReplyDeletei do regular oats in the microwave, but this is a bonus b/c of the berries. at that price though, i'll have to wait for a sale.
