It's amazing what a difference a week makes this time of year. In one weeks time the woods around here are looking green and the flowers are popping open!
The leaves are bursting open all the trees. Seeing the green all around me is such a happy sight!
In our front yard the tulips, hyacinths and grape hyacinths are all blooming.
The dogwood and forsythia in the back are full of blossoms.
In our side yard the daffodils and grecian wind flowers are looking so cheery!
I love seeing the buds on the bushes. This is an oakleaf hydrangea.
Even the dwarf lilac is budding.
Spring is such a joyful time of year!
Such beautiful flowers! I love the variety of colors. You have a great eye for beauty.

ReplyDeleteI don't think we can quite say that around these parts as it still dips down to freezing at night and not that warm everyday just a up and down pattern.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how you feel as you look out your window. Sometimes, I just stare at the trees and flowers in my yard. You are surrounded with the same awesome beauty! EnJoy!
ReplyDeleteglad to see the weather cooperating for you!!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to enjoying Spring in Michigan! Your photos make me anxious to get to the U.S. in time to see/smell/enjoy the lilacs!
ReplyDeleteYour gardens look lovely all the time. These spring pictures of your flowers are beautiful! I noticed that you added a white fence. Maybe it has always been there but this is the first time I have seen it. It looks great beside your spring flowers. After all the rain you are finally reaping the benefits!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of a beautiful time of year.
